Tip: add two sticks of butter and 1/8 heavy whipping cream along with your store bought icing and then mix it all together

yes, now you have fluffy, spreadable frosting that will return to puddle status after 30 mins room temp 😅

edit to add I have beef with the frosting, not the video. The companies changed the ingredients. Canned frosting used to be a lot more stable at room temp. Now it's so liquidy and awful. Really only useable if you're doing a one layer cake that stays in the pan when served.
