It's a junk inoperative printer, you can spend hours trying to get it to work and it never will. Full HP ink Cartridges, connected to the PC, full of paper, still acts like it's printing but puts out blank pages. HP help bots are useless. Out of warranty you have to subscribe (Pay) to get HP help, which amounts to throwing more money away. They will not be able to help you either. You just have to eat your loss, it might make a good night light but that's about it.

And what if still not printing? Both of my cartridges are brand new and all I'm getting is blank pages but no error messages, and even the printer shows that the cartridges are full🤯🤯🤯

Thank you for your excellent info. The directions for cleaning the cartridges were the solution. I am backup and running sans new cartridges expenditures. Awesome!

Same. Went through 3 sets of cartridges, and same problem. First it wasn't printing color. Just black and white for months.Then all the sudden it worked for 2 days. Then the black stopped working and now the color just prints faintly, but incorrectly without the black ink. Tried another new set of cartridges, and nothing. Seems to change, when I print from my phone. I think it's a hardware or software error.

Thank you for the video. All of these functions can be found on the printer itself as well as in the app. As far as the diagnostic goes. New printer and new ink. The ink was extremely faded before and barely visible, but after diagnostic it is always now completely blank. No idea

Hey guys! I did Clean Printhead 5 times and one time Clean Smear. My papers had only colourful patterns (NO BLACK INK AT ALL). The pictures were also not really clear. But then I tried to print in an app and it worked! Still, words in black ink are faded, but readable. However, I have only half of the black ink in a tank of the printer. Hope it helps and don't worry, guys!:)

NOT WORKING and it´s not cartdriges or anything. prints tests alright... I am not creating any account with hp to solve this or that.

Great video to know my way around the troubleshooting options. Unfortunately, it did not solve the entire problem. I was getting a black page before, but now the test print page just printed in color and very very faded. No black was printed. My black ink status says half full. I see some people are having this same specific problem. Some of you say you bought new cartridges and the issue did not fix. Don't know what to do. I guess I'll buy a new black cartridge, see what happens. But from reading ya'll post, may not resolve. Thanks.

Mine keeps doing this or printing from half way mark and missing the rest driving me crazy

Unfortunately, he didn't address anything about the printer continually printing a blank page. I've done clean printer heads three times. Still it shoots out a blank page

😡 Same. Brand new HP cartridges and will not print black . Tried clean print head and deep clean and nothing. What a piece of junk. Hopefully Costco will take it back and I will go buy a Cannon printer

HP Smart... uninstall it... then reinstall it but make sure it is HP Smart and not the other fake app...

Know how to fix this problem? Don't buy an HP. NOTHING has fixed this problem for mine. It's trash. I'd be better off with a chisel and a slab of concrete like the Flintstones.
