Liquid Lawn Fertilizer - Better than Granular?

I review and test a liquid lawn fertilizer, applied with a backpack sprayer. I use my DeWalt 4 gallon backpack sprayer to apply Gordon's Lawn and Pasture liquid fertilizer.

I used liquid fertilizer this year and it has been amazing.

I like Gordon's liquid weed and feed from tractor supply - Much less expensive and sticks to the weeds. Gordon's liquid brush killer works miracles also.

Oh the DEF fluid I used 4oz. Per 1000sqft. It sounds really goofy I know but worked good.

I used diesel exhaust fluid "DEF" From auto parts store . It was 10$ for 2.5 gallons. It's urea nitrogen 32.5-0-0 I believe what it was . It worked great and cheap. The other 67.5% is deionized water.

I've enjoyed these sprayer episodes, LE. Do the products you are spraying recommend adding a surfactant? It is basically a soap that helps the products you spray stick to and spread over the leaf surface of the grass blade. It makes a big difference. Also, consider combining kelp and humic acids in your spray mix.

Does liquid fertilizer need to absorb into the soil to be taken up by the roots or does it absorb directly into the blades?

Granular fertilizer is mostly clay. 10-10-10 would consist of 30% chemicals and the rest clay. Good for slow release.
