I came across this video (as a loyal fan of your channel) when looking for splitting configurations. I must say that it's not very easy the follow.
In the end, I used an example of splitting configurations into packages and I really like the simplicity of working this way. Would it be an idea to make a video about packages?

I've gone down the split yaml route after watching one of Frencks videos. I really hope they don't deprecate yaml completely, searching and ease of entity renaming are much better if everything is just in split text files. Also, troubleshooting is easier when you can just move blocks of components in and out of your configuration in windows explorer. What would be great is if they could find a way of including alternative config paths and split files into the GUI editor so that can be used for editing automations as well as just viewing them.
