SHAWARMA BRAIDED PIE WITH CHEESE

How can you surprise your family today? Prepare a new shawarma recipe with Kraft. #Kraft_it

INGREDIENTS
1 block of puff pastry
500g lamb boneless, boiled till its tender and fall apart. Then shred it.
One sliced onion
Salt and pepper to taste
Tsp shawerma spices
½ tsp. Cumin
Tsp. Sumac
2 tbsp. Olive oil
1 cup Kraft cheddar cheese tin, shredded
Cucumber pickles cut into long strips.
2 tbsp. Chopped parsley
1 egg
Sesame for topping
DIRECTIONS
PREPARE MEAT STUFFING
In a pan with some olive oil add the onions and cook till they are translucent
Add the meat and spices and parsley give it a good mix.
Keep it aside.

On floured surface roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle.
Put the cheese in the middle leaving a 4 finger space on each side.
Put the meat and pickles on top of the cheese .

Cut those sides into strips to fold over the dough later.
Fold the side strips over the meat in a criss-cross pattern.
Brush with the egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 for 25 minutes.

Serve with tomato salad.
