It is fashionable to fill everything with sodium hypochlorite and then add hydrochloric acid while chlorine will be released, which will dissolve the gold

What keeps the acid from dissolving the gold again.should you naturalize acid first

Far better off to place in coffee gringer and reduce them to powder so aqua regia can contact all gild. Wont take as long eitheryou just have to use something finer to filter

I think it would be better to use filter paper the let it dry and the put filter in crucible containing gold..the paper will burn off

If you use filter payer before stumpout you get rid of all junk because go ld is still disolved

Surprised at the amount of positive comments.. so much loss, way too much SMB, way too much Nitric and your end product is dirty as. Powder should be caramel colour when dry, not near black. Good effort though
