Pedal sound almost as good as Andy’s playing. Another killer demo. Thanks for all the work you put into doing this.

Damnit Andy, I didn’t need another Rat pedal but this one has gone to the top of my short list.

Andy knows the virtues of old Ibanez basses.

Nice tone with tastes of a fuzz to my ear. 11:45 very Pumpkins-y.

ANDY! I THOUGHT I HAD LOST YOU! After pro guitar shops closed, you went to reverb ( I had to Google you several times! 😸), But they don't use you for anything, do they??? I'M SO GLAD THAT YOU'RE STILL AROUND, MAKING

You started on bass and I instantly thought of Ben folds five since he used a rat…then noticed that the first few notes were actually the same as Where’s Summer, B?
Nice.
Sounds great. Falls apart at high gain like it should and the clipping/mid boost+adtl internal controls are awesome. I’m guessing it does light gain super well also.

Sounds so awesome! I have a rat so I'd like to do an AB test

Sorry if this had been answered, but is this a limited run due to their recreation of that op-amp?

Really wanted you to touch that dang tone knob and push it past 12 o’clock. Nuno always runs a rat and wanted to hear it shred. Otherwise, great demo as always Andy

If they built a discrete op amp, the derating of components over time will change its performance and operation.
It's the exact reason op amps are used instead of discrete components, not only do you have to match all the components going in by literally measuring them, including the transistors with a curve tracer, but all the discrete wiring is very susceptible to noise and random transients.
It's hard to get a discrete circuit to stay balanced or maintain clean differentials/input offset which is why, again, integrated analog circuits are preferred in modern devices. When they break they're easy to troubleshoot but hard to get working again, because, again, of the need to match components, and now you have to match a new one with the old ones in the circuits, which will again start to derate differently because now there are not only dissimilar devices but one is old already off its rapid curve and the other new just starting on the first part of the curve.
Great idea but troublesome to sustain.
