Got this as a bday gift. It's amazing. It's the best sounding rat for bass. Real sharp and clear sounding, with no bass loss. It's versatile too, easy to add tiny amounts of dirt or... all the dirt. Pair with a Boss OC pedal for some dirty square wave synth sounds. It's great. Go buy one. ☝🏾

I really love, how this pedal sounds, but for some reason, it cuts out the low-end for me. Is this a general issue with this pedal and is there a way to solve this problem without having to give up on this cool pedal?

This pedal into a Sunn O)))-based pre-amp like a Model fET or a Doomlord...
It's massive.
And then there's the left footswitch as well, so, if you keep the gain low, you can use the left switch as a second channel. ❤
Although the tone knob differs from the Rat's low pass filter, with the use of the mix-knob and the tone, you get close. There's a plethora of sounds in here, going from a slight crunchy OD in the background, to full on fuzzy distortion.
