Quick observation, but I really want to give Ocho his flowers. In early Nightcap days, it was apparent that his level of knowledge of pro basketball was rudimentary at best. But, what did he do…he studied and put in the work and you can tell. This isn’t unlike the Shay method. Constantly improving their repertoire, not just as analysts or interviewers, but as respected sports pundits. Ocho rally affirms it for me when I saw him sit in on First Take. Super professional, eloquent, humorous when it counts without it being clowny and overkill, which is hard t do.. his debates either Unc are much more on par now then they used to be. Don’t believe me, pull up a vid from 3/4 months ago and you will most definitely see the growth. 👏🏼

Man, when I played football at Central Connecticut back in 1993, our first practice we had about 90 dudes. Coach made us run 3 miles in under 25 minutes. We started at 1pm and by the 9 pm meeting we had 65 dudes and my first roommate went home that day. Football was different then and we were built different. No knock on the youngstas, they not built like us.
