I've only just discovered Meshtastic today, fully sick, however I am yet to see the GUI, myself. I know commercial MANET systems share link RSSI level for up and down, which enables spidergraph visualisations of the network strength/performance. Providing a weight on this data being shared I think should be considered if not already. Great work, keep it up!

Could channel utilization be used to drive power saving on a node somehow? Maybe if the node sees high channel utilisation for a set period, it then sleeps for a while waiting for the utilisation to drop down. e.g. it high ChUtil detected for 10 minutes, double the power saving periods (sleep etc) until ChUtil drops back down

Would it be possible to tag a message "important/high priority" to ensure it goes through quickly and also all efforts are made to send it to everyone on the channel? Sort of an emergency signal.

ChUtil 0.0%... in a city of 2 million people. Maybe my antenna is terrible.. it's a stock Heltec V3 915 MHz coil, and I've made no contacts yet.
