Just right click the desktop,

Open the Nvidia control panel, and follow these steps.

First go to change resolution.

Ensure your maximum native resolution is selected.

Set your Framerate to the max available.

Then after checking Use Nvidia color settings, max out your color depth, set your dynamic range to full, and hit apply.

And finally you can get the framerate and color depth you paid for, which most people don’t because...

That looping shit people do is so annoying for some reason.

For the resolution and refresh rate I agree.
But Color Depth is a different story. Because if the game or program runs 8 bit and you turn it up to 12 bit, it can mess up colors and instead of a clean colorgrading, you can see jumps between colors. Missing colors would be the issue for that problem.
And full RGB range is activated, as soon you connect a DP to the monitor. If you use HDMI, you often are limited to RGB half or 4:2:0 with full range.

What monitor are you using with 12 bit color? I use an LG oled and only get 10 bit.

beware that increasing color depth just makes the gpu have to send more bytes over the wire, so if ur hdmi/display port cable isnt fast enough this might cause input lag

Where did you get that 94% ratio statistic?

Switched from a 2060 to a 6950 and realized I never had color correction enabled on my 2060 🤦‍♂️ thought it was my monitor! Booted up with the amd card and oooo what pretty colors.

Hate it when they purposely cut off video at the end

I mean this would be useful if you have the hardware to push the extra colors the higher resolution and higher refresh rates also most gamers care more about fps then visuals

Far too many tech youtubers assume that everyone has an nvidia gpu because they aren't aware that anything else exists since their pcs are all prebuilts and they just select the most expensive which generally includes an nvidia gpu.

94% of people don't do this because when you install the drivers they are already set to what you set them to.
