iSCSI - Internet Small Computer Systems Interface. iSCSI Linux Target and Initiator Configuration Step by Step Guide. It is a part of Red hat Certified Engineer Course.

The iscsiadm utility is a command-line tool allowing discovery and login to iSCSI targets, as well as access and management of the open-iscsi database.

Open-iscsi does not use the term node as defined by the iSCSI RFC, where a node is a single iSCSI initiator or target. Open-iscsi uses the term node to refer to a portal on a target.

Thank you for sharing the knowledge. I have a problem: I can't communicate with the server from the client when I run: iscsiadm -m discover -t st -p IP.
iscsiadm: unable to establish connection to IP: connection refused
I scan port 3260 from the client and the port appears to be closed.
PORT STATE SERVICE
3260/tcp closed iscsi

I could guide please, thanks and greetings from Mexico.
