They got the hint from the Bosch FL12 I bet, I've used those in my garage for years and they are hard to beat and take a 12V swappable battery. For this new light to be an A+ it really needs Qi charging. Charging small things via cable is really archaic in a workplace.

The USB-C port is also found in one or two of of Milwaulkee's headlamps and one or two 4V lights. that use a removeable cell.

The only reason id get this over one of the many ryobi usb lithium lights is the compact size. Ryobi has better lights for everything else basically
