Sony Xperia 5 vs Xperia 1: What's different?

The Xperia 5 is Sony's big launch at IFA 2019: a slimmed down version of its Xperia 1 flagship that drops the price without compromising too much on anything else. Chris took the chance to compare the Xperia 5 with the Xperia 1 on the show floor.

Thanks for showing the both phones next to each other so I know how they compare in size. Not a big difference. I wish Xperia 5 was 5.3 inches! That would be a true compact!

What are you talking??? Both has eye focus.. Ps4 remote is already in all sony phone already.. Mine x compact already with ps4 remote thingy and I think xperia 5 is to budget and smaller screen size and lower res

I'm still using XZ1, and my dad has XZ. Still running strong and very tough phones, can get dropped alot. I might get Xperia 1 or 5 soon. I guess I would prefer slightly smaller for one handed use.

That blue is gorgeous. Did they release that blue color? The blue that's available seems not so glossy.
