I totally agree with your main points, I rock the 5 II and I am very happy with it but marketing, pricing and especially the speed of the phone's release must be fixed by Sony 💯

This is like S21 FE. Way too late in the game. Especially we already see phones with the Snapdragon Gen 1. As much as I love Sony, they really need to step up with software upgrades and release dates (specific dates not spring or summer of whatever year). There's no transparency.

Right now in Denmark you can get the this Sony 5 iii for around 670 euros (725 USD), that also includes the Sony WH-1000XM3. I'm really tempted to get it, now that my Oneplus 6T is slowly dying (mainly the battery life is going down). For that price, would people recommend this phone?

The issue isn't with Sony when it comes to releasing phones, the issue is americas fixation with carriers that makes the it all more complicated compared to the rest of the world. So blame the carriers in the US instead for making it harder then it needs to be.
