Sweet Crepes - Banana & Nutella

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 300ml (10 fl oz) milk
- 40g (1.4 oz) caster sugar
- pinch of salt
- 115g (4 oz) plain flour (all-purpose flour)
- 30g (1 oz) melted butter (plus more for cooking)
- nutella for serving
- bananas for serving
- icing sugar to garnish

Method
1. To make the batter, add the eggs, milk, sugar, and salt to a bowl and whisk until combined.
2. In a separate bowl, weigh out the flour. Gradually whisk the wet mixture into the flour until you have a smooth batter.
3. Next, whisk in the melted butter.
4. Place a non-stick pan over medium heat and brush a little butter on the pan. Pour in a ladle of batter and roll it around the pan to cover the surface.
5. Cook for 30 seconds before adding Nutella and banana slices. Fold the crepe over and place it on a plate.
6. Garnish with a dusting of icing sugar and serve!

Chocolate and banana work surprisingly well but then again strawberry and chocolate also does, pretty much most fruit dip in chocolate is a win .

My Mother makes the most wonderful crepes❤! Even after going to culinary school and working as a chef for over 20 years I still can't beat her crepes!
(She taught my little brother's friend how to make them and he said making them for his girlfriend is how she became his fiancee 😂😊😊)

Hi Andy!! Thanks for sharing all these delicious recipe!! I love watching your videos!
Also, If i can make a suggestion, you should cook both sides of the crêpe, then pull it out of the pan and put the garnitures in. Like this the chocolate wont cook and burn and both sides of the crêpe are golden with buttery crispy edges 😊 that is how we do in France 😇
You should also try salted caramel, apple and cinnamon
You can also try salted version with buckwheat, emmental cheese, ham and egg, it is called the crêpe complète ! And for me it is the best one! 🎉

Hey there Andy ! Quick tips as a French : usually you'd add either beer or cider in your crêpe batter, some people like to add vanila extract too !
You may want to buy the crêpe maker too, it's not a pan, rather some kind of hot plate with a roll thing to spread the batter. You can't forget about the flip too ! Whether that be a pan flip or a hot plate flip, the taste of a successful flip adds a lot to the crêpe :p

Both! Crepes with banana and bacon. Brie and nutella toasty. Brie baked with nuts and brown sugar. Sweet and savoury together are yum
