That's really cool, but I don't know if it would make optimal materials for helmets. The secret to a helmet is to fold and crunch in a way to dissipate the enourmous quantities of kinetic energy from the bullet. Something like this would not deformate, and all the energy would be transfered to the persons skull. The bullet may not penetrate, but the energy would be more than enough to kill the wearer, wouldn't it? Otherwise is great to see technology beeing discovered and created in real time. I wish I could study at MIT, it seems that all the newest technology in robotics and other areas is beeing created there!

Varying grain direction per layer is what makes plywood so good, a 19th century invention. Why are we just discovering this for 3D printing?

The problem is not penetration, it's the force of impact. Something has to absorb all that kinetic energy and it's usually our body.

Seems MIT never made a quilt or great french pastry.Think of cracks like air temp or trying to stay warm with the least bulk. Samething as the shell. Twists, turns and folds.

need to list trainings for days like a calendar changing the pages (6
page train activities perhaps 18 or more for the way the body is
exersiced but there are more ways of training muscle minimum 6) include
on this calendar wich turns around the restfull days also

apply one series of warmup for some muscles or lung train 2 hours after
eating enough, 3-6 series per muscle (group)

eat 2-5 times a day perhaps more times occasional chocolete or something
in small ammounts with 3 major feasts or one feast und 2 smaller with
more eatings during some times but only small ammounts (including some
glucse with simple to digest amino acid und protein
