My dermatologist doesn't want to prescribe Tretinoin for me. So, I use the otc ROC capsules nearly every evening. No issues. I use Timeless vitamin C 20% during the day under sunscreen. I do best if I keep it light and simple.

Dr. Idriss, this same thing happened to me when I first started using prescription tretinoin about five years go on my chin. I had horrible hormonal acne and it cured it but certainly inflamed my chin are in the process. What alternatives do you recommend we use on our chin area that are safe, gentle and effective?

I am often using the Neutrogena Hydro Mask on my face to moisturize it, but it makes my skin burn for like a minute, but after that it feels super soft. hi again!! i’m using tretinoin around 2-3 times a week at about 0.025 dosing, i dont notice any flaking but my skin does feel more dry sometimes and my acne hasn’t gotten too much better. is this normal? do i keep going or do i chill out? please help

Hi doctor, can you please talk about hyperpigmentation in inner thighs area? i'm a bit chubby and i've dealt with my inner thighs rubbing ever since i was a child. I'm 28 and i started addressing the problem a couple of months ago but i don't see much difference. at first i used glycolic acid followed by CeraVe SA cream twice a day then i stopped and started using Bioderma targeted brightening care but i still see no difference. what should i do? i know this process will take time but i need your help!
