Really like this format Rick. I’m just getting back into golf and treated my self to new irons and looking forward to the Spring. This guys appears to have a similar swing to mine and I tend to get over the top and I am definitely hitting a lot of irons a little right. This has definitely given something to think about and work on. 👍

Went to the range and hit terrible. Sat in the car and looked up “why am I hitting the ball to the right golf” watched this video. Bought another bucket and changed my grip and used the mirror strategy. Hit the ball sooo well. After hitting my 9i and 7i I took my 6 iron out, aimed for a flag in the field and first shot I hit the flag in the air. Yes it was just luck but it felt great lol. Looked around and the one other person at the range didn’t see it 😂. Thanks Rick!

The same head turn thing was the first thing that got picked up on my first lesson and got sorted and made a big improvement straight away, but I've started to hit the ball right again and was here to try figure out why before my next lesson lol 😆

Huh did not know this as an issue. But I did notice an issue with how the club hits at the very end facing a different direction than when I start. So I start with my golf face being a little crooked. Then I rotate my wrists all the the way so it is lined so I don't accidently hit it the wrong direction.

I totally thought this was saying stop hitting the ball correctly. But I’m not a golfer.

about a month ago I was slicing everything but now I don't really fade or draw the ball much. However, I do feel like I'm fairly consistently hitting the ball around 20 degrees right of my target line.

I thought his problem was the direction of the ball flight but you summed it up saying he was able to get 20 more yards out of his 7 iron??
