so i read Howl's Moving Castle before watching the movie and it became one of my favorite books ever and it's definitely a book i would recommend to anyone at any age; but don't go read the book expecting to be the same as the movie. In my honest opinion the book story is way better. It's more complex, complete and it's not as romantic as the movie, the characters have better development and really strong personalities; also i feel like there are things that are not well explored in the movie which could be confusing at first watch, while in the book everything can be comprehended by the end of it.
Yeah, that's it, the book is awesome and the movie is really good, but it's totally miyazaki style, so it is quite different from the original story (It worths by the aesthetic though).
