In this video we take a look at two important concepts from Galois theory, the trace and the norm. This will eventually give rise to an important bilinear form on a number field, which helps us prove that rings of integers are finitely generated Abelian groups. This is the beginning of section 2.5 in Milne's notes, "Review of norms and Traces".

It's no need to explain so clear, In chinese class teacher would give you definition, no example, then give main theorem, then move on to next chapter, for the min ploy teacher wounld say it's obvious hahaha.
