I repair, testing and having a QSO with this old WW2 German radio.
Using the 5W.S.b Transmitter.

My grand dad had only the box of the radio from WWII, Hungary.
Even the box was so mysterious for me, with the Wehrmacht eagle sign.

It is difficult to express how much I love this channel!!! I am very familiar with new HF military radio in Norway!! I have lived in Europe for almost 14 years total! I wish I would have known about Helge’s YouTube channel back then so that I could visit and shake hands! My love of old mil radio goes back many, many years. 73!

Nice restauration, Helge! I restored a Torn.E.b some years ago, it was missing the detent spring on the coil rotor and only had one tube. Got the sprig from Germany. I had to restuff several of the can capacitors, which were leaking badly
