The comments show why political parties are trouble. All this elementary school name calling and ignorance is just crazy. Democrat or Republican it done matter the important thing is having people in place that uphold the law, constitution and have the American people’s best interest at heart that’s it all the extra feelings and emotions don’t matter but facts. The most important fact is Brett believed that a sitting president shouldn’t Be indicted (search about it so you don’t have to ask). Now I know the White House is under investigation (if you don’t know do your research) and that Brett having connections to the presidents law firm (Edward McNally a partner of the firm) is conflict of interest (personal feelings aside) but based on the findings he should be disqualified for the position it’s simple as that.

I watch and listen to character testimonies in favor of judge Kavanaugh and I wonder how irrelevant and indeed irrational these testimonies are to the point. I do not, for one bit, doubt that Judge Kavanaugh is a good person. But that 's not the issue. Even stack racists are good to their kind.

However, the issue is one of his judicial philosophy: what does he believe is the purpose of law and what direction should it take in molding the values of the society. This is where the history of his past rulings come into play - to give us a window to the way he would rule in future. We are denied these critical asserts by the partisan republican party because they want to impose their values on everyone regardless of their moral or political merits. Why are they hiding his records?

To have a potential Justice of the supreme court willing to expand the powers of the presidency, in the age of Trump, is down-right scary. This is the rational for opposing Judge kavanaugh, regardless of his personal qualities as a father, as coach or other irrelevancies to the issue at stake.

I support Judge kavanaugh in regards to Roe v wade that is a settled law
