I'm thinking about buying this cam to guard my motorcycle at night (it's on the street) but because I don't want to draw attention to it, I'm planning on using it with the lights off. I'm just wondering whether it will still capture a good night vision with the lights off considering the motorcycle is like 60 feet away.

I bought this a few months ago. It has many unfinished features. The ads and box suggests far more than it’s capable of, and Annke admitted the product needs improving and upgrading, then it will be more like the ads!! So we have all pretty much bought a beta version. For example, it will track my postman up the path, but it stops held way up the path and doesn’t follow him to the front door! Also if 2 people are tracked it darts badly from one to the other not knowing who to follow. You can’t see a thing clearly. Crazy! Just 2 examples of about 4 faults. ‘Buy cheap, buy twice.’ The instructions all from Chinese is inadequate, and their tech support is slow and not in the U.K. contact clinic directly for more info.

Hi! I got this camera but I'm unsuccessfully trying to connect it to the "Security Eye" software. The first obstacle is that the software offers a list of Annke camera models and I don't recognize any of the models listed as this one. The second issue is, when I insert the IP of the camera on the software, it doesn't connect. Do you know the exact model of this camera or how to connect it to that software? Thanks!

Having trouble adding it to a 4ch+1 ip annke dn41r dvr (few years old now) only seems to work with the smart app, am i missing something or the dvr too old to add?

Cannot get it to recognize 2.4 password? Even when lowered encryption? Keeps saying wrong password? Any ideas? anyone tried just about everything

The camera "is a dream come true", the picture is crystal clear and the zoom excellent.
However, it only works via the outdated activeX controls of the old Internet Explorer, if you want to watch it from a large pc monitor. Although it is an onvif camera, no third party supports it (does not detect the assigned onvif port 8999) and thus the PTZ and zoom controls do not work. Annke has not bothered to design a PC client for the camera, as eg., reolink has done.
What is worse, the camera sometimes goes out of sync for some inexplicable reason and one cannot access it via the smartphone app. Even if one knows the camera's id and all its details, one has to be where the camera is located and reset it. Something horrible, a true nightmare, if one eg., has installed it in one's summer house which is far away, in a different province.
Annke technicians have been extremely kind and willing to assist but, without the proper software for the pc and without a better smartphone app, the camera is rendered nearly useless. :(
