I have 5 Annke DVRs that I've been buying since 2016 and all of them are still running at my business. About 20 cameras total of which maybe 8 have failed over these 9 years (and replacements cost $20 Amazon), all my cameras are indoor though so using outdoor, who knows? All I can say is that all of these DVRs together have cost me about $2000 max and I cant complain at all. I guess it also depends on your needs :)

George, I has ld insulation taken out of our attic, yes it very cold :) but before we put some back I want to do everything i can. On project I have is to install a security system, companies are just out of my price range so I bough a DSC box and panel. what i want to do, which i know is separate from points and Motion detector is to add a few cameras facing the front and back yard. I have watched your videos on turrets and I agree with you. My question is can i get a turret and connect it with cat6? i have extra and should a wire a few motion detector and glass breaks, I don't really care about door points

I used annke products and to be fair they are budget level cameras and for the price other cameras cannot compete at all also the hikvision firmware can be installed Inc able to use hikvision app I found the turbo hd recorders to be very good combined with ip cameras added . Also the network recorder seem to also be ok and the pic quality is perfect for those who just want standard view and alerts . Obviously you have higher spec and they also seem to be rather good to my knowledge reliability also perfect as I've never had any issues if I had the money yes 250 £ camera but for 60£ yes you can't go wrong at all

ANNKE DVR STOPPED WORKING AFTER 12MHTS IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK...

I have used this brand for several years. And since a certain firmware version of the NVR recorder, I have been solving problems. With rok support, I solve several problems that these NVR devices have, and loop support corresponds to the same. Reluctance to solve anything. I am moving away from this brand because it totally ignores bugs in NVR firmwares and 3rd party camera support. Motion detection at the lowest sensitivity disaster. The manufacturer received a list of problems from me, to which he did not respond in any way. I recommend everyone to look for another brand. No one communicates with you, no one will give you company management. An absolute disaster. They tried to shut me up by offering me a free camera as compensation, but I was not concerned about the camera, but rather that I would not suffer financial damage and damage to my name. I do not recommend ANNKE.
