This is very helpful. Even for an adult. Had a doctor distract me when injecting for my carpal tunnel. He had a nurse sneak up behind me. Swabbed the location with alcohol then asked a very bizarre question like 'What do you think about hippos?' Confused he immediately injected me ....and then I realized what he did. I thanked him...because I barley noticed and he was already done before I felt anything. I had told him my needle phobia...and he didn't make me feel bad. Thank you medical professionals who do this...even for adults

As a retired trauma nurse and daughter of a surgeon, I’m just in love with this kind and loving pediatrician! Wish all could take a page out of this practitioners handbook! We would all benefit from that kind of love and care! 😉🤓😎😷

My pediatrician is so funny.... she HATES hurting her patients with shots so she forces us all to give numbing cream 40mins before lol. She's the best.
