That's the thing with (Max's side of) RB this year: they were working optimally in every aspect and had full confidence in one another. Hannah delivers strategies she Knows Max/Team can pull off and they Always do. It must be great working with that trust that the other ones won't fail you.

This is probably the only reason Merc werent as purely dominant as RB are now. They're strategy wasnt near as good as RB's. There are other factors like deiver lineup but mainly strategy

Not to detract from Hannah's job, she is incredibly brilliant, but man, it must be nice as an engineer to have full understanding of how your car and driver will perform. That helps allow for good decisions making and being able to take those gambles like Brazil more confidently. Thank you for highlighting this genius engineer ❤

Pace does make strategy a lot easier. No taking it away from what they do, but you can play safe when you can cut through the field with ease

They may not have the best engine out there but they sure delivers in other aspects of a race

Even more than strategies always on point, what really made the difference in 2023 was reliability.

Max also stayed with his team late in the night to make sure the car was on his best, he is more then a driver, it was a full team effort having al those wins etc in 2023

Not saying that they haven't been tactically impressive....but ... Speed makes strategy work. If you have the fastest car you don't need to rely on strategy anywhere near as much. It's why they have target lap times in those strategies

The only strategy mistakes I've seen from RB this whole season were during the Singapore GP where Max pitted only for an SC to come in at the worst time which is very unpredictable so I don't blame them

I do want to argue the flawless part. Dutch gp lap 1. Aside from that, yea. It was very good.

They have a good car with a good driver. The other team fell behind their development. There is no pressure on them to make decisions, no matter what the status is they will win even from the back. I’ve seen what the Red Bull and MAX can do under pressure in 2021. That’s when the true colours come out.
