Perfectly ok with Stanton, too. Injuries are very annoying. But Yankees have proven they're capable of winning East w/o him. And like you said, the man has had some good postseasons, and that's all I really care about at the end of the day.

Stanton’s injuries frustrate fans. Think how frustrated Stanton must feel. Yeah I know he is being very well paid but Stanton has never struck me as a malingerer.

That is quite a dominant pitching performance by Cole. Still I see 1-7 RISP that still give me concern. 2 runs out of 7 Hits (with one run coming from Homer). Without Cole's stellar performance, this could really go different way. Yankees really need to get better with situational hitting.

I may catch heat for this comment but the thing about Hicks is, very few players can play 1 out of every 5 days or so and get a start and get 2 hits. It's a chicken-and-the-egg scenario: he isn't hitting because he isn't playing but he's not playing because he's not hitting.
