If nothing else, Oswaldo Cabrera should be a plus-defender at perhaps multiple positions. There's a place on this roster for that.

Clay Holmes still scares me, a very loud out to Florial, a hanging slider that got Gary and going to 3-0 on Kepler before he finally found his footing. Here's hoping he regains his form and soon.

I never saw Giancarlo in his years in Miami. But Judge seems to move very smooth and effortlessly. I don’t foresee him having the issues with his legs as Stanton.

Thanks for the video! Nice win for the Yankees but they are still relying too much on the long ball. I love watching the HRs, but this is not going to get it done in the playoffs. Gary Sanchez is hitting .214 for the season. Sadly, he’d fit right in, in the Yankee lineup right now. That was part of the problem.

Just read an article that references an MLB insider that says that Brian Cashman’s job is safe for life. If that’s true….how do we keep on being fans of this team? When they’re assembled by a man who has shown he can’t put a real contender together.

The Stanton trade has proven to be a mistake. He is fun to watch when he is healthy but he is hurt a lot and always takes at least 2 weeks to be productive when he comes back.

If you take salary into account, he has been one of the least efficient Yankees.

In my opinion, he doesn’t take the regular season seriously, and is one of many examples that Brian Cashman is not a good judge of competitive spirit.

Let’s keep the unbalanced schedule and petition the Commissioner to be moved to the AL Central so we can play the Twins 19 times a season.
