Don't talk about the incompetence of the leaders in foreign countries where Indian students want to flee to from India because of the lack of infrastructure and facilities in India and the incompetent leadership in this god forsaken country. Why depend on foreign countries to educate your people rather take responsibility and do things for yourself.

Your absolutely correct about the incompetence of the policies regarding both the education department and migration. There's no issue employing India's and others most educated and skills related elite for the benefit of their own economies at the expense their own countries economies where they are needed most. At present more than 1.2 lakh Indian students studying in Australia, (with total population of 26 million). Australia is already providing opportunities for Indian students in a big way going back many years . Even today the caps are being imposed in city universities where the cost of living is high. However the government is supporting regional universities to increase their uptake. This will impact genuine foreign students with a lower cost of living during their study period. Those who look for entertainment of city life may be disappointed.

It used to be true that Indian students went abroad for higher education and many also settled in those countries. The current lot has a higher percentage of low level education and only use student visa to get into the country and work full time.
