Recently, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has issued a notification to amend the Environmental Impact Assessment Rules, RBI has decided to adopt 4 Stage Regulatory Framework for urban cooperative banks. It aims at strengthening the financial capacity of urban cooperative banks, the Ministry of Home Affairs released shocking figures about Indians renouncing Indian citizenship. More than 4 lakh Indians have renounced their Indian citizenship in the last three years.


Coming to the Science and Technology section, recently, some cases of Kala-azar have been reported in West Bengal. According to the Health Department of Bengal, 65 cases of Kala-azar have been reported in 11 districts of the state. In Environment section, recently, ministers and legislators from the hilly and coastal areas of Karnataka held a meeting. This meeting was organized for raising objections to the recent draft issued by the Ministry of Environment.
