I’m confused. When I do this, the tuner is like fidgety or always too high or too low. Like, if I move it in one direction by a millimeter it it is too low, but if I also move it by a millimeter the other direction it is too high. Sometimes the tuner doesn’t pick up when I strum, and if it does it just waits like two to three seconds before showing up on the tuner.

This is my first time ever using a tuner, and now I’m so confused that it feels like I’m trying to understand Chinese. I don’t know if the tuner is supposed to behave that way as described above or not, but either way I’m so confused that I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong and what I’m supposed to be doing if I am doing it wrong.
