luckily i was able to get both (shared between me and my partner), but after trying both s18 and v11, i do feel the s18 is favorable FOR ME.

S18: Going over speed bumps always feels like going over a jump ramp, the turning is so much better than v11 (its comparable to the v5f), and the suspension adds so much versatility. Whenever i try a wheel i try doing a spin on it, and usually the newer wheels cant do it comfortably, but the s18 was amazing at it (its a truly funny test). On top of this the S18 feels almost like a part of the body because of the grips already built in, the better turning, and lower center of mass.

V11: Feels very stable when going long distance. It is very nice sitting on it especially if you can get your hands on a seat. The handle is also very nice since you are probably using it for commute.

comparison:

V11 < S18 I think the acceleration feels better on s18 than v11 even if it isnt much better.
V11 < S18 Suspension is better on S18
V11 < S18 Better maneuverability on S18.
V11 > S18 Better light on V11.
V11 < S18 S18 very fun and versatile, doesn't feel dangerous doing risky things.
V11 > S18 V11 has slightly more speed.
V11 = *debatable*= S18 V11 is extremely smooth but the s18 handles bumps extraordinarily well
V11 < S18 S18 is a bit safer than the V11 since it has suspension which can handle some pretty major potholes, and the maneuverability and better breaking power makes it a lot easier to avoid falling and crashing if you make a mistake.

Conclusion:
If you want purely transport, go for V11. I remember the first time i road the v11 i felt like i was skiing on fresh powder. Its an extremely smooth ride.
If you want megafun and as little limitations as possible (in terms of maneuverability), go for the S18. I personally ride the s18 mostly on road for commute and i still prefer it over the v11. It is just the most fun you can possibly have on a wheel and it also gives you everything you need for fun even if it lacks on battery life (which personally i havent had a problem with SO FAR, but if i do i will look into buying an external battery.) At times it felt like the s18 encouraged me to go faster while on the v11 going at top speed felt awkward because of the lack of attachment to the wheel and danger the slower breaking and turning felt.

A very interesting part about all of this is when me and my partner got these 2 wheels both of us instantly knew which ones we wanted and didnt fight for either one. This shows how the wheels are really meant for different types of riders.

Also i disagree with the vids statement that ewheels arent good for offroad, so far, ive outclassed my friends 2000 dollar offroad bike on everything the mountain trail has to offer with me riding the s18, lol.

Feel free to ask if you want to know any other comparisons.

I live in New Mexico, not in a big city, have my own needs (72 yrs old, bad pavement to dirt transitions, shorter journeys, desire to stop repeatedly to take photographs), just bought the s18. This review sounded great, loved all the points you made to seperate the 3, and totally understand your choice. Have followed your reviews for the V11 and s18 over the year w/ pleasure and appreciated the on-road/trail viewing. Thanks to you for speaking up, you’re a great spokesman for the wheel. I’m probably the first euc rider here (Santa Fe) by all accounts not seeing another yet (also one of the first mountain bike riders here in 1980), so you’ve been my initiating community, among the few others on YT. So yeah… forward to next adventure…….

Perfect example of why competition in manufacturers is good. Maybe a year ago, we would have been content with one suspension wheel. But it seems like the manufacturers are realizing there is a market for them. And influencers like you make that possible. Thanks for being a voice for the community. And as always, another great video!

I'm so glad I got a V11 last year. I spent so much time watching review after review from you and others and I'm glad I did. I was seriously considering the Veteran at first but then the idea of having a good suspension system really got in my head and I couldn't get over how much it would make a difference, and boy has it! There are so many bad roads out there and the V11's suspension works really really well on everything. I've never had a close call hitting a bump or jumping off a curb. I'm really looking forward to the V12! All I want from Inmotion is better waterproofing and a stronger body.

I just bought a V11 from someone who wanted the S18. He want's to ride off road so he'll probably be happier, and I benefit by getting something to smooth out the bumps of urban riding with a lot more range the my V8F (at twice the weight). Thank you Hsiang for this well produced, balanced opinion of all three wheels.

All I can say about this is that the V11 is the ONLY wheel where I can ride ALWAYS seated without ever feeling a single hit.

Thanks for this video!! I'm thinking about upgrading to a suspension wheel, so this was super informative. :) You are one of the main YouTubers we watched who got my fiance and me more encouraged on learning the EUC! Great device for NYC!

S18 comes next week
Still my favorite after watching these reviews

That buttery suspension is worth the loss of a few miles and mph

V11 is definitely a beautiful machine though how could you be disappointed with either ;)

Love the videos man!!

hello my friend, i need Your oppinion about monster 100v/22". You ride it long time and know this wheel very well.

Which one euc is more comfortable during long distances and for recreational use in the city - Sherman or Monster 22"/100v ?
They are probably different in terms of suspension provided by tire, 20x3 vs 22x2.5 - which is better (comfort, stability) in Your oppinion - especially for bad quality roads?
Do You ride sometimes light offroad? Is it very uncomfortable on Monster?
Dont You miss fender, trolley or something else? Is it possible to buy another type of tire for this euc? Did You have any technical problems with Your Monster in past or maybe now?

I ride msx now, its quite ok and very reliable. I like to ride long distances (100km), but also ride around city for recreation(30-40km). I prefer comfort and safety instead of speed, max 35-40km/h. I would like to upgrade my msx for something just as reliable, but with bigger range, and not very heavy (possible to carry on stairs, 3rd floor). Sherman seems best but its far too heavy. EXN is not reliable (bearings). What left...? Monster 100v/1845wh - 29kg seems reasonable, bigger wheel, bigger battery, not extreme weight. I can buy it occasionally, but dont know if it is still worth to buy in 2021.

Nicely done! Just think there was no mention of the hollow motor topic pros and cons?

totally agree, the V11 is the most practical, the handle is the easiest to use, the lights are amazing, charge time is fast as hell, and suspension is perfect for the city, would totally buy another V11

Nice! I’ve been anxiously awaiting your comparo and am psyched you picked the v11. It does everything I ask of it. Ride it to trails, crash it on trails, ride it back home.

What about the Hollow Motor bearing problem? The S18 doesn't have that problem
