This used to be my favorite song to play my girlfriend when we first got together. She was the most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes on, yet she really struggled with her self esteem and absolutely hated the way she looked. So I would always play this song for her. She just passed last Wednesday after a long battle with cancer and I've had this song on repeat since. I can just picture her little smile when I would stare at her and sing along to the chorus while we were driving.

Ariana is so good on this. I really appreciate her recent works but this should be where her direction of music go. No heavy electronic beats, no crazy voice effects, no anonymous man shouting or whispering on the chorus. Just minimalistic instruments with nothing but her sweet toned soulful voice.

We thought this song was too good to be true for a hip-hop song to be coming out sounding like this in 2016. This song will always have a special place in my heart.
