Today we are continuing our long road trip with Cryptid By State : Texas. For the most part a lot of states have similar cryptids but with this one there are quite a few unique ones. Join me as we discover what types of creatures call Texas their home.

Texas at one time was its own country. We even had a president or two. When Texas became part of the 50, there is a clause in the paper work that states Texas can withdraw from the 50 and become a separate country again.
There are all kinds of crptids here. If you go in the woods, make sure you take protection. These things are NOT nice. I've seen a bigfoot, tiny little Indian man, ghost, etc. It gets pretty scary. We also have a big black cat. It stalked my granddaughter. Our family cat attacked it to protect her. Good kitty....lol

My dad as well as my uncle both saw the big bird in texas back in 1970's. My dad saw it at night and he said he had woke up and looked outside the window and saw it on a street light at a far distance and he said he immediately noticed how large it was even though it was a good distance away, he said as he watched it took off flying into the sky and that it looked in slow motion since its wing span according to my dads was as big as a large haul trailer on a semi truck.

Texas also has what looks like a giant armadillo. I saw one when I was about 12 years old. It looked to be about 4 feet tall. But it was definitely an armadillo.

I grew up in san benito texas and one day when i was 13 and in middle school i was on the bus going to school and i look out the window and i see a giant creature with wings i have no idea what it was but wow its so nice seeing my town mentioned in this video.

My mother in law is from the RGV where McAllen is and she and her brother saw that “Mothman” creature up close when she was younger. She described it as large and black with Bat like wings and red glowing eyes. From a distance it sometimes looked like a man with a cape or trench coat on.

There have also been reports of the "Hairy Man" of Hairy Man Rd (yes it's an actual road of that name) in Round Rock just north of Austin Tx, although there are questions of whether or not it's a type of Bigfoot, Ghost or just mistaken identity.

The Johnson Space Center sighting sounds quite similar to Houston Batman sightings in 1953 in the Heights community of the City. The Batman was another flying humanoid similar to Mothman except predating it's more famous cousin by 13 years. I'm a native Houstonian for the record.
