One of my first ever saves of Raft on Steam, I found both rare islands back to back. That particular save was lost to the computer it was on because it never updated to the cloud.

I have yet to find them again since, damnit. I wish they showed up on the receiver.

The banana one might be a reference to the buzz junior monkey tame witch has a game called simian shootout where tou use bananas as guns

There are some other cool ones too. A number of serial codes on equipment reference the original developer who sold off the title; Redbeet. Particularly, the steering wheel's base reads "RDBT." The plane crash island also reads "RB2017, " which is referencing the original testing phase year and acquisition, post-launch in December of 2016. I believe the codes on the sides of the excavators at Varuna, the snowmobiles' front ends at Temperance, and some smaller equipment at Utopia also have some significance, but I've yet to really clue in what those refer to. The game's chock-full of awesome details!

On the second day I had raft I fished up the duck

Its funny hiw I started two different world with two of my friends and on the first we found the plane crash island as first and on the second world the same happened but with captain islands.
At first I thought they were garanteed to be there, but after seeing a video about them I understood how lucky we were XD.
