Today we take on a challenge of going around London and eating at the worst rated restaurants... not only worst rated but also worst reviewed restaurant.

We started of by going to the worst rated cafe in London, Palace restaurant cafe. Imagine I got charged £15.50 for a poxy jacket potato and another £15.50 for fish and chips, it's an absolute rip off!!! Then we went to Ristorante Roma which is an "Italian restaurant" more like a frozen food restaurant. We ended our night at Taj Mahal which is an Indian restaurant, this place was literally from a movie. It didn't feel real.

£38 for a grilled, uncooked jacket spud and a rotten piece of fish?! That’s crazy!

The fact the last guy reacted irritated when asked about the charges says a lot integrity. Good on you for double checking.

The more the staff talk the higher the chance they overcharge you! Learnt this in Turkey where the waiter was chatter then charged us £20 worth of food more 😂

oh my goodness that last place would've made me scream - the amount that he talked and pressured about meals I'd feel so uncomfortable. Honestly most of those restaurants seem like pure stress

Service charges seem absolutely insane to me. That’s how you know it’s a tourist trap.

it acc pisses me off that self-employed business owners have the audacity to charge so much for some nasty and rancid food, like how is this allowed???

One thing they all have in common- very large menus. To me, a
huge menu is always a dead giveaway that the food will be substandard

35 quid? For cafe food. I really thought they couldn’t mess up. You ordered the simplest things. What a liberty

I would love it if someone did a social experiment by ordering from these places, but telling people that they’re from highly rated restaurants, get them to taste it and see what the comments are 😂

Asking what you would like to order before giving you a table is mad. How are they even still in business??

The chips probably tasted meaty because they might have cooked in the same fryer used for frying meat.

£38 for that crap!!!
No way! I would not pay anything for that puke! ..
I would've told the owner to contact me if they wanted to take things further..
You are one brave woman for doing this.. fair play to you!

As an Indian, the last restaurant was a crime

They’re rated poorly for a reason. How they’re still operating without taking on board and improving on the comments is beyond me.

You guys are so brave. At the Italian restaurant I wouldn't have trusted any of the silverware, especially after seeing that half washed glass. Yuck 🤮
Also restaurants with large menus are almost always a red flag. Like there's no way all that food is served fresh.

my parents visited me in London last year and we were out and abt touring and I was starving...so we just sat down at Palace Restaurant Cafe without reading any reviews and it was truly awful. I ordered a tuna sandwich that was like £10 for I kid you not - two slices of white bread and plain tuna+mayo. I was so angry. The minute I saw the interior in this video, I was like, wait a damn minute!!!

£38 for that tragic meal is genuinely wild, not to mention the smoking right out front.. what a horrible business!
