I have the Tamron and it is nice not having to switch out prime lens over and over during a shoot.

Just got my sigma 24-70 f2.8 today in the mail. I LOVE it. Wide open, you can film anything and it looks cinematic lol, it's so dope.

Just got the GM 24-70 lens for $1, 495, it was an open box at Best Buy. There are good deals out there, just have to be patient 😀

Owning both tamron 28-75 and sigma 24-70, i find tamron to be the clinical one. It’s sharper, faster autofocus, less flare, less ca, lightweight. But it lacks character and looks more digital in imagery especially portraits

I have the Tamron AF 28-75mm F/2.8 MACRO Aspherical XR Di SP, best walk-around all-purpose lens. I love it. I shoot a lot of low-light sporting events, inside gyms at night and stuff, so it's just awesome for my needs. So happy I made that purchase about six years ago. Go for the Tamron, and spend the money you safe on something else.

I have tamy 28 75 over a year and im very satisfied!!

But please guys. Do not get focused on buying the best lens. Sometimes the best lens you can have is the one you already have you just spend to much time worrying that it’s not good enough. I use the 24-70 f4 Zeiss I paid £250 second hand for it and I work with clients all over the uk and the world so do not limit yourself by thinking you need more expensive gear. Use what you have and tell a story 🙌🏻♥️ and if you’re sceptical my Instagram is - @opticalwander

How does the auto focus compare? I have a A7Siii and need a 24-70mm lens but the G-master is so damn expensive! Sigma sounds good but is it really a G-master equivalent?
