The PS5 is clearly the better Machine. But the Exclisive-Gameselection is realy tiny. To have fun, the PS4 is more than enough. Even 2024. My advice is: If you just want to play Games sometimes and you are not a entusiast, safe the money and dont buy a PS5. Buy a used PS4 Slim, buy some used Games and you have a lot of fun from the start for Months.

My PlayStation 5 is basically just a PS4 Pro Plus mainly used to play PlayStation 4 games at a stable framerate.

downgrading my ps5 to a ps4 slim 1tb. It's not worth it. in addition the dualsense controller has a very short battery life.

The PS5 clinched graphics only because it's a new gen console. Also - it was running a last gen version of GOW. The thing has nothing in the way of games...at least nothing to write home about. The PS5 is just a better way to experience PS4 games. As for the Dualsense controller, it may have longer batter-life - but it hardly lasts all that long, what with all the gimmicky haptics and trigger vibration intensity spending battery very fast...also prone to drift. I usually turn down those things...and leave vibration (itself set to low). If I had the DualShock practicality with beefed up battery life, WITHOUT the mostly utterly useless touchpad connected to the PS4 emulator that is the PS5 (as it stands, until it has software of its own). That'd be enough for me

I skiped ps4 since I had a decent PC to carry my gaming... but since my pc is very dated now, I got a PS5 CFI 1200 (last fat model) second hand for a good deal ($350) and I'm glad to play the PS5 inclusive titles PLUS the ps4 titles I slept on.

I have one question what's so special about the PS5. And please don't say the controller and the graphics could if that's all yeah it's no wonder I still haven't brought one still to this day.
