Rest in peace Bruce Lee, Robert Alan Wall legends never die

Way ahead of his time. He was literally the only martial artist at the time with the philosophy that "the best style is no style" which is what we call mixed martial art today

That speed was epic and truly magnetic; no inflated camera work there as has been revealed; just true force of nature; that is some training and focus.

Watch the reaction of the extras and understand how truly epic his reaction time was in sequence for all of them to witness; they were very proud indeed!

Look for it; its not part of the script; watch for the guys jumping up clapping...

Boards...don't hit back. Probably one of the best pieces of advice ever given.

Bruce Lee is one of those people you can always watch. Timeless Icon. The way he moved was beautiful, it's like watching art.

One of the very best scenes ever filmed! A punch so fast you can barely see it!

I rember the first time I saw this, in '73. It was a Tripple-headder at the drive-in; Fists of Fury, Enter the Dragon, and... Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii. The Sun rose just as the second part of Echoes was finishing. Capped off a great night.

Lightning speed and terrific strenght made Bruce Lee a formidable fighter!

This scene is very realistic. He punches him in the face at light speed and everyone jumps to their feet to applaud. That's EXACTLY what I would do

This particular fight has got to be one of the all time in cinematic history

Even after 49 years, I'm still watching this scene.

Bruce Lee's speed and accuracy is spectacular!

He is so fast in this scene that I had to buy the DVD. With a DVD I can hit the pause and go frame by frame to see what Bruce Lee is doing.
I had heard that he used his left hand to pull O'Hara/Bob Wall's hand down as he punched him.
And just to emphasis my point, Bruce Lee is actually slowing down his speed. Just so the camera can catch 'something'. I don't often think of him slowing down his speed for the camera, but when I do it's simply amazing.

The "Man with scar", is Robert Wall.
He was a Grandmaster in Tang Soo Do, also trained in Jeet June Do, Shotokan & Jiu jitsu& good friend of Bruce Lee & Chuck Norris irl.
He past away earlier this year.
Also, the famous " boards don't hit back "- line, refers to Bruce Lee's believe that if you want to proper train martial arts, you should always train by doing sparring against other fighters.
Hitting a board & practicing Katas or forms alone, doesn't prepare you for fighting an opponent.
Bruce Lee was influenced by Mas Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate, who was teaching the same principle.

Bruce Lee was Robert Wall’s mentor. Robert had mad respect for Lee and said as much in an interview.

Almost 50 years since its release and Enter the Dragon stands the test of time like nothing else in the Genre.

What a trooper Bob Wall was. If you know anything about blocking and scene set up you realize how grueling this shoot must have been with the amount of takes and retakes. R.I.P. you magnificent bastard.
