The original corridor is a lot shorter, but you added the hall between the new entrance and that corridor. This doesn't save any space, it only created another house with an obscured from the street entrance.
More space would be saved by just putting the (open) kitchen-dining-living room in the back and the other rooms in the front like you did, but just keep the front entrance: half the corridor gone, but no new space-wasting hall in the middle of the house and no obscured main entrance.
Sure, that means walking past the doors of the bedrooms and bathroom to reach the living area, but your plan invites everyone to walk past the windows of said rooms, mine just means you have to shut the doors but people can still be in those rooms getting natural daylight with the curtains open knowing nobody should just walk past their windows.

Why did you choose the private areas in the front vs the back?

So are you saying that the line of sight starts at new front entrance on side of house to the new back side of the property which is actually the opposite side of the front door?

Having a front door half way down your propert and entry hidden to the street is an absolutely massive security and privacy risk. It forces anyone to be halfway into your block before enterting, and with the door hidden from steeet view allows burglars cover.

Not worth the increases usable sqm internally.

Why not have bedrooms at the front, then bathroom, then open the whole space up for kitchen dining and lounge with no need for corridor, you could have a laundry and wc off that at the very end.

I would worry getting home at night and walking g down a side path to get to the front door.
