I actually really like Sting Scourger as tech in Goblin decks for commander. Having access to a bounce effect in monored is great for getting around indestructible stuff like Avacyn.

planer chaos was sweet when I started playing I liked the color shifting cards and the amount mechanic complexity was pushed with multiple abilities on one creature

Stingscourger is wielding a Man-O-War on a stick. This set is full of easter eggs. I always thought Sunlance was just a nerfed Lightning Bolt though. It annoyed me for stretching the definition of colour-shifted. Now I know!

I think it's funny how some of the color shifted abilities from then, are now currently somewhat of a norm in modern day Magic.

This set was also our (we the players) peek into the Time Experiments of things to come.

And a future set is the aftermath and puts the Great Color Wheel back together. To bring balance to the planes as a whole.
