Annunziata Rees-Mogg, sister of Tory MP Jacob Rees-Mogg, says her decision to leave the Conservative Party was not made lightly.

Speaking at the launch of the new Brexit Party, led by former Ukip leader Nigel Farage, Ms Rees-Mogg said she had "fought at every election" for the Conservatives "from Maggie Thatcher through to Theresa May".

She added: "I know which one I'd rather have representing us now".

Report by Iain Jones.

We must have an election. We must win a sure majority. And we must then leave the EU immediately with no ‘deal’, a false condition that was never part of the referendum.

"WE ARE THE ONLY POLITICIANS WHO SPEAK FOR ORDINARY PEOPLE; THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN STICK IT TO THE ELITES!"

"And without further ado, let me introduce our first candidate, Annunziata Rees Mogg."

This happened lol. After leaving school in 1997, she decided against going to a university and instead tried a series of different jobs, in journalism, investment banking, publishing, public relations, and stockbroking. You mongs seriously think someone who can get into these types of jobs without the education or experience are anti-elite?

She didn’t want to return to politics out of fear for her children’s safety, but must follow the call rescue the country. Sounds like a Charlton Heston movie. Another Mental Mogg with enough millions to shield her from the consequences of her actions.

Electorate: 46, 501, 214. Leave voters: 17, 410, 742. Therefore of those eligible to vote, 29, 090, 472 did NOT vote to leave. You cannot ignore the fact that a greater number of the ‘British’ people did not vote Leave, and the Brexiteers cannot truthfully claim to represent the ‘majority’ of the British people.
