Annunziata Rees-Mogg, the sister of the Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg, has been unveiled as a candidate for Nigel Farage's new Brexit party in the European elections. She was introduced by the former Ukip leader at the party’s campaign launch at a factory in Coventry. Addressing cheering supporters, she said it was not a decision she had taken lightly after years supporting the Tories. “The point at which our prime minister will not listen, not only to her membership, but will not listen to the people of her country ... I can’t sit by and let her do it,” she added.

The BREXIT PARTY is the true home for the 17.4 Million voters disenfranchised by May and Corbyn.
NEVER FORGET. NEVER FORGIVE.

What a fantastic, passionate speech. If only she was PM - instead of that ghastly harridan Theresa May...!

So she was 25 years part of the establishment but this morning she woke up as a female Robin Hood. She is a joke.

Could this be the start of a new era of honest capable politicians? I'm signing up to the party and might consider applying to be an MEP. Look out Tusk !

Nigel, I have a question for you: Why did you resign from the UKIP Party?
What was the real reason? I have heard your answer when you said why you resigned, you said that after the Leave vote won, "We did it, and it was time to hang up my time hat." I am afraid that doesn't cut it. Now what you have done is, you have 'shot yourself in the foot' because you have split the Leave support, now, you have launched your Brexit Party. If you were really serious about challenging the mainstream two party political system, you would have stayed where the people of the U.K. were running to for redress for their deep disappointment in mainstream politics: the UKIP Party. And Gerald Baton is not leading the UKIP Party in the wrong direction because he recognizes Tommy Robinson makes a huge contribution to speaking out against evil, even if he is a bit of a rough diamond.
