How to Create a Pie Chart in Excel

To create a pie chart in Microsoft Excel, begin by entering your data in two columns where the first column contains the data names and the second column with their respective percentages. Next, highlight both columns, and navigate to the insert tab where you will find an icon that represents a pie chart. Click on this icon which will then bring up a variety of different formats for a pie chart, select the one that is relevant to you and customise your pie chart as required.
