CSEC Maths - Algebra - Factorizing by grouping

3x-6y+x^2-2xy you said that nothing is common, what about the 3 and the x so it should be 3(x-2y) x(x-2y) i.e (3+x) (x-2y)

3x-6y+x^-2xy
3(x-2y)+x(x-2y)
(3+x)(x-2y)

My teacher showed me that we could also write the answer as (m - n) {2h - 3k}, the reason for this he said is to show the examiner that you understand what ur doing and he said he/she can't take any marks off your paper if u have done it like that.
