I highlight in yellow God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and He, Thee, Him when pertaining to God and I highlight in pink woman, she, her, female etc. Always. This makes me slow down and understand more of what I’m reading. I use other colors for stuff that jumps out at me. I think I will do this with purple. His character.

Great. I am sure you have tried biblememorization as well? I mean, entire chapters? It changed my life!!!
