Genesis is history because it actually declares the origin of life from the beginning which science will never know of the origin of life without making up of assumptions with not being able to actually observe the past through history.

The Aramaic word for day is all encompassing. It basically means period of time. The Aramaic book in the Bible describing the beginning is called Genesis "the beginning" it says day in heaven is as a thousand years on Earth but day on Earth is 24 hours. The Bible doesn't tell us what a creative day would be considered on Earth probably because it would be unfathomable to us and it mite be cut up in a way we would understand. The Earth was not created in 6 years as we know years . Just six periods of time. Making the oceans separate may have taken more time than it took for light to come up on Earth so how could we fathom the period of time. B excuse it is very possible other planets will be made lovable in the same manner and the same item mite take the same time maybe someday we will know what a water seperating year is or what a light creating year is. Genesis IS HISTORY.

Your interpretation of Genesis is wishful thinking not history.

No. It's allegory, mythology if you will. The people who told and retold its stories for generations, then the priests and other early Jewish holy men who gradually put it into written form, and then who contemplated and prayed over the magnificent texts and wove, reshaped and supplemented it over centuries knew it wasn't history, and they certainly had no concept of science. They just know that it and the other Torah accounts, some internally contradictory, provided a window for our little human minds to get glimpses into ultimate truths and a vision of God. They also rolled their eyes at morons whose human minds were so small that they would obsess over a few of the trees and completely miss the forest. Back then there was no theory called the Dunning-Kruger effect, but they would have recognized it immediately.
