you have to give young players time, Real Madrid gave Vinicius JR almost 3 seasons to develop. Barcelona has given Roque 300minutes to develop, it is insane.

This is what I absolutely HATE about FC Barcelona. They go on to sign a young prospect, dubbing him a name like "the next Messi" or "the new Neymar" when all it does is put pressure on his mentality and now feels like he has to rise to an expected level where the fans and media want to see him at, as opposed to seeing the "new Vitor Roque" who should make a name for himself. Not mention not giving him playing time just bc he doesn't "FIT" in the coaches plan is a ridiculous excuse. Barcelona just spends money left and right and never gives the new and young players opportunities and play time and believes that the OLD SYSTEM still works. Smh🤦🏻‍♂️

I swear he’s going to end up at Bayern at some point down the line and beat us like coutinho

I don't understand why people have such wrong expectations about Vitor Roque. He's not an R9 or a new Vini Jr. He is not a dribbler, he's a different type of player. People should not expect something just because he's Brazilian.

They expected a complete player from Vitor Roque, something even Vini JR wasn't when he started. Barça knows how to develop their own players, but is terrible at signing and managing young talents from different clubs lately

Apparently Flick wants to Keep him and sees “a second Suarez” in him. I hope he plays him well. Maybe like 30/70 with Lewandowski

Rather than sending him out on loan for a year, why don’t they play him in the B team? There he’d get playing time and fully understand what it takes to be a Barca player rather than sending him to a random club and hoping things work out (it didn’t work out for ansu). At the end of the day this is just a mess

Real Madrid gets young players who seem promising and turns them into world class. That's what I love about this club. And we don't say oh this player is the next Ronaldo this player is the next Zidane and put tons amounts of pressure in them.

My dude, I've never heard anyone calling Vitor Roque the next R9... and as a Brazilian, we would've heard that if the media itself believed that. Even Vini had to deal with journalists taking shit about him and was never seen as the future for the national team. And I like Vitor a lot, dude is good but he needs time to develop and adapt to European football. I hope Barcelona regrets this decision.

Well what can i say madrid simply doesn't pressure new players like barca does look at Ada Gular had an injury beginning of his career at madrid carlo took his time intergrating him into the team and boom the kid is absolutely rocking it he's adopted smoothly with real's play style. While at fcb it's a ticking time bomb

I always thought Barça knew how to develop players because of La Masia, but it seems they aren't very good at contracting players, they fail both economically and fail to adapt their players into th system.

Made a great career mode signing on fifa, guys a beast of a cf. I think that’s about where his skills stop though

Barca doesn't know how to build a roster for the coach, Florentino got it right after the 1st generation galácticos

Making a future prospect signing and then saying he is not good enough after a few months 😂

Real Madrid doesn’t put unnecessary pressure on youngstars thats why they have developed some world class players in the past few year.

There is no pressure on Arda Gula to light up the place and Endrick isnt being acquired to be starter next season thats why they want Mbappe.

Vitor Roque will be a part of hansi flicks plans next season. He is pnly 19 years of age. Give hime time to develop his game. Not everyone is yamine lamal.

It's also mainly his agent pressuring Barca, while Xavi wanted to give him time to adapt
But Barca doesn't like being pressured by an agent

real Madrid have vétéran players to develop youngster
Barac should have done the same with roque with Lewandowski but its a circus

Barca is struggling to find new youth because they think everyone should look similar to messi did at 18. They have no patience for growing talent anymore. Only players through the academy are given patience and even then they are sent off after a season or two of not performing.

If they had to buy messi at 17-18 they would also sell him after a season because he isnt lighting up the world.

Vini was literally a flop in his first few years at Real and look at him now, while Barca has relatively good players from La Masia, most of their young signings were kicked out of the club in less than 2 seasons or became completely washed up due to lack of playtime
