Thanks for sharing this folks, I was just looking for a new way to give. Just pledged $200 a month.

The problem is bad governments, not insufficient funding.

Not that I don’t support it, but how can you be sure at least some of the receivers won’t spend it immediately and become reliant on donations?

This seems like a cool idea but I know even if you gave my family 10, 000$, they'd be right back were they started in less then a month

Throwing money at the problem won’t fix the problem

About 10 years ago, hell even before the supply chain issues that arose from covid, I would have agreed with you. But then I realised how dependant farms are of low paid desperate people. Food costs are something that absolutely must be kept low. Unless we can actually find a way of replacing practically all labor in the food production industry with automation then we are still stuck in this need for classes.
Yes there is a lot of food waste that contributes to the price increase (~30% at most stages of the process from farm to your grocery cart which could be around 65% in most cases) but the amount that could be saved would likely cost more so we don't do it.
The more realistic solutions would be lowering the cost of living with government (or institutional) intervention even though politics makes that unlikely and individuals will not feel as involved so you don't get that feel good feeling that inspires most of Peter Singer's Advocates.
Your way makes sense if you can get billionaire whales on board because they have the resources to make the changes we need, and they are the flip side of what is causing this horrible wealth inequality, If you can convince them to actually give their wealth away for real, instead of the fake wealth shelter foundations they typically do while claiming it as charity then yeah this would work.
But normal people who this seems to be aimed at are just making everyone who isn't in the 1% more equally poor while increasing inflation, instability, and the other trappings of poverty. I get that it feels like there is nothing a poor person feels like they can do.
Normally I would have recommended rising up overthrowing those with power and wealth but from what I've learned that causes instability and more people suffer from instability. For the homeless giving people a home makes sense, but that is because owning a home lowers cost of living in a lot of ways.

I don't know what the best solution would be but my opinion would be giving people a better education. One that actually makes them enjoy learning and bettering themselves. Teach them how to think and not what to think.
Second, get people more involved in how they are governed and let them feel like they make a difference, perhaps with direct democracy, perhaps with tangible benefits from participating, perhaps with community activities that get them involved with helping each other, perhaps with games and lotteries that incentivise participation.
Third set up a system that lays the groundwork for sustainable life and affordable cost of living. Make the resources to survive food, shelter, health care, utilities, transportation, and other basic provisions so plentiful or government regulated so that the market cost would be easily obtainable by everyone.
Find ways that anyone can contribute and be paid a living wage without killing themselves in the process. Then make it ubiquitous enough that anyone could do it. Blood plasma donations, medical testing, and certain other gig type jobs for example are a way to get by without working a real job, but the for profit companies involved profit greatly off people without giving them a real living wage.

You can't fix poverty with money until you fix the poor mindset.

Money only amplifies who you are as a person. If you have a poor mindset then you will only become more poor when given more money.

The video on the topic of poverty was blatantly false, it was largely a push for money, charities tend to profit significantly whereby only a small proportion of the money ends up where it was suggested that it would go.

Giving money does not change cultures, which are the biggest contributors to poverty when the money runs dry. What matters is shifting cultures and society standard of judicial systems and social cohesion.

I rather put my money into funding research on technologies that are having the most exponential drives in innovative technologies, which impacts logistics and cost of living.

Rational animations should never take subscriptions for charities, it makes their channel and content look bad and untrustworthy.

to help you with statistics, I'm poor 1 dollar a month means less or lower quality food for me.

You're asking people who are themselves charity cases to benefit charity cases. Unless this money is going to business development in the third world to hire locals and exploit natural resources for the benefit of locals, it's making people in the third world poorer.

Why do people want to eradicate the universe than helping people... (I mean the amount of views)

A good idea but there is a catch just look at what happens to lottery winners imagine someone gives a thousand dollars to some village kid and puts a target on his back.
